He made some research for his new movie, which will be focusing on life of a father who lost his sons in Gallipoli war. Crowe met with people and he has taken some information. Crowe wants to shoot some screens of the film in Edirne.

The NextMovie.com: Church Conference Gets First Look at Russell Crowe as 'Noah'

Rabbitohs win! - Gold Coast 4 -- Bunnies 32 - postgame on livestream - From CGee: It was a good, solid effort by the Rabbitohs tonight. Souths saw a majority of the ball in the first half and with trys by two (Sam and George) of the three Burgess' on the field, Souths led 14-0. Second half had them confidently go about their business, with Matt King back and playing like the skilled veteran he is, set up a spectacular try with Luke Keary taking it in, his first of two for the night. South Sydney Rabbitohs defeat the Gold Coast Titans 32-4.

Souths Lose: The 1st place Rabbitohs took on the 15th place Dragons and in Golden Point, the Dragons prevailed scoring a try to win 22-18. It was a slow first half, with the highlight an offload from Nathan Merritt to Dylan Walker for a beautiful try and Souths led 6-0. The second half saw Souths play a lot of tenacious defense, and credit to the Dragons, they clawed their way back into the game. But points eluded Rabbitohs as did a couple of kicks on goal to win the game and in the end, St. George scored the winning try in GP. It was a frustrating loss, Souths will no doubt learn from this game, regroup and come on strong in the remaining 7 games! - Thanks, CGee

Great 2000 bit from Jeannine: "I have been reading old "Gladiator" reviews and found this comment in one from the San Francisco Chronicle, 5/5/2000, review by Mick LaSalle:"Advance publicity has suggested that this film will make Crowe a major star. It just might. Watching him here, it's clear that Crowe has that thing Gable had and Sean Connery has -- that assured, undiluted, 100 percent guy-ness that makes any man standing next to him look, by comparison, like Quentin Crisp in lounging pajamas." - Thanks to Nean, here is a link to the 2000 article

Russell Crowe ‏@russellcrowe 1h South Sydney 30 Warriors 13

Rabbits Make it Five in a Row in Perth From CGee: "The NZ Warriors proved to be a formidable adversary, getting the best of South for most of the first half. Making their way through some soft defense, NZ scored two tries and led at the half 13-6. The second half was a different story. Souths came out determined, played smart footy and on the back of trys from John Sutton and two from Bryson Goodwin they were in control as they scored 24 unanswered points. South Sydney defeats the New Zealand Warriors, 30-13.
