From Nicole: "Today SSFC was playing vs West Tigers. It was a Rabbitohs show with 11 tries & the final score's 54-10. The Rabbitohs dominated the all game with a terrific first half. 4 tries in the first 20mn starting with one scored by Nathan Merritt 2mn after kick off. We saw a 95m run from GI (!) whose day it was as he scored 4 tries today! The boys had a good online defence (which is rarely seen in Souths games). Souths was leading 38-4 at half time with 8 tries. In the second half the West Tigers played a better game but were never a danger for our favourite team. This is Souths10th victory with a 54-10 win. Glory Glory to South Sydney."

After a kid drowned because there was no swimming pool, he gave a big amount of money for the building of a swimming pool in Nana Glen. His father was involved a lot with this project & did a great job as Russell was far away busy making movies. In 2009 a few days after Black Saturday when fires took 180 lives & destroyed towns in South Australia, he organized in Coffs Harbour, with Coffs Harbour City Council's help, donations & help to rebuild Maryville city. He's financially supporting Coramba nrl team and helping a lot of groups & people. He's a very good man and he's loved in Coffs Harbour."

Souths win - From Nicole: What a great game we saw today, both sides! And what a gift for Russell who biked all his way up to Brisbane to see Souths take on Brisbane Broncos! Our boys first scored a penalty not long after kick off then a  beautiful try from Jason CLARK leading 8-0. Our defence was good but  the Broncos took advantage of a few errors and scored twice, leading 12-8 at half time. As soon as the second half started Bunnies, changed in lions, scored 3 tries in a row starting with Greg INGLIS who let no chance to Brisbane defence. A great defence of oursprevented dangerous Broncos to score again. South Sydney Rabbitohs won a brilliant game from the whole team 26-12. Proud to be part of this club! --- From CGee: It took them to the second half to truly get it into gear with a first half once again a display of solid defense but with some errors on attack it ended with the Broncos in the lead 12-8. With two quick trys by Inglis and Merritt followed with one by Sutton, they had the undermanned, but resilient Broncos well in hand. South Sydney defeat the Brisbane Broncos, 26-12. Can not wait to see the next game against the Cowboys in person!!
