From Nee:

I just returned from Sydney, among the wonderful times I had, I attended 2 bunnies games at Anzac Stadium. It was the 2nd and 3rd time I've seen them play ( first was in florida ) And this was a wonderful experience watching them play on their tuff.

Thanks to my good mates and very big thanks to a number of long time Bunnie supporters I got to sit in the real good seats and by that I mean right in the middle of the diehard Bunnie fans. Among the most genorous and kind people I've ever run across in all my Oz travels.

I've finally got a decent grasp on the actual game so it was a lot of fun. The first one was The Bunnies against the Dragons AND THEY WON! It was a real nail biter, but they came through in the second half. I actually landed in Sydney at 6:30am and was at the game at 2pm. Having beers afterward in the 'winner circle' was a blast. I loved how everyone had their Bunnies gear on, from little kids who werent even walking yet to people into their 80's. We saw Russell down on the field with the players before the game started.

As a diehard Yankees fan myself, I love seeing people put their heart and soul into supporting 'their' team. I wish I could say they won the game against the Bulldogs but they didn't, it was disappointing. I had heard that bulldog fans are abit rough around the edges and while there were a few after the game as we all went for a beer by the stadium, I did happen to run across a very nice young guy who said to me he was happy to see Bunnies supporters at their game as it was a home game for the bulldogs, so they aren't all bad. I also went to training one day located in Redfern in a beautiful park. It was fun watching the Juniors train as well.

There was a big ad for Ben-hur in the stadium, it should be quite a show there. All in all I'd love to see them play again in the future, and I will make it my business to do so, it was wonderful. And as a side note, I don't think I've ever heard people yell out the words ' GET OFF HIM!' so many times in one night. :) GO BUNNIES!
