From Ray -- "Since the iTunes idea came about there were only four countries that had the iTunes music store and now there are many more. Since Australia & NZ do not have the music store yet we are working on alternate ideas for Australia & NZ.

To download songs from i tunes to your computer:

Click HERE to access Apple's USA i tunes page (See other choices above). Then click on 'free download." Save the program to your desktop or a place you will remember on your computer. Follow the instructions for installing your i tunes download. Open the program. On the left of the screen you will see a list. "Library" is at the top. That is where your purchased and downloaded and/or burned from CD tunes will stay. "Radio," "Music Store" and then later "Purchased Music" follow. When you click on "Music Store, the store main page comes up in the right hand column. To find Crowe songs or any others, click on "power search." Fill in any blanks at the top of the search page with the song/artist/album you want. The songs will appear below when you click on the search button. To listen to a bit of a song, double click on it. To buy, click on "BUY." and the song will download to i tunes on your computer. Listen and enjoy!

After you get familiar with the program, you can create your own playlists from the main Library page. Go to "file" at the top of the screen, click on "new playlist." Give your playlist a name like "my favorites," or "classical" or "country" or "Russell." When completed, your playlist name will appear in the left column. Click back into "library," and then drag the songs you want from there into your playlist. This way you can just play the songs in your playlist, or burn to a CD.

(See "burn disc" at the right top of page.) Put a blank CD disc into your drive, and then choose the songs you want. If you choose and then hit "control" on your keyboard, you can pick and choose the ones you want. After that, click on burn disc and follow instructions.

If you rate your songs, they will show up in the "My Top Rated" on the left. You rate a song by clicking on the blank stars after it. 5 stars is the highest rating.
