Tenderness
- the book

Without spoilers -- I'd say the book is indeed beautifully written. It grabbed me from the first lines and never let go.

Lori speaking: "Me, sometimes I get fixated on something and I can't help myself. Sometimes its nice and I let myself drift to see what will happen. Like with Throb. Sometimes it's not so nice, But I still have to go with it and can do nothing to stop..."

The two kids are the main players. The story is really about them, with the detective, who is an old man in the book, only a sideline character. The story is harrowing, suspenseful, and finally, very sad.

Eric is described as looking like an angel - beautiful, tall with blonde hair and blue eyes.

Lori too is apparently spectacular looking, with large breasts. A big attraction for all kinds of men of all ages - suitable and unsuitable. She is also funny - easy to get to like.
