Roberts and Owen play corporate spies who try to manipulate which corporation will win. Written and directed by Tony Gilroy (he wrote Michael Clayton)

4/11/08 - Duplicity - Spoilers - Latin Review: Script for Duplicity - "There are flashbacks that reveal the true relationship between Ray and Claire (come on, with a title like Duplicity don’t tell me you didn’t see this coming) and in them, I get a sense that Gilroy was going for elements of Closer. And for certain moments, that realism and drama that relies simply on dialogue and two smoldering performances (which Owen and Roberts should be good at this time around) comes across, but then we flash back to a hi-tech spy movie that never really allows you to believe what you see, totally smashing any realism in that relationship." - Thanks, Steph
3/11/08 -- Just Jared: Photos on the set of Duplicity - Julia Roberts and Clive Owen head separately to the set of Duplicity to film interior scenes at a pub in Midtown Manhattan on Monday. The thriller will be directed by Tony Gilroy (The Bourne franchise, Michael Clayton) and is about a pair of corporate spies who share a steamy past hook up to pull off the ultimate con job. And duplicity, in case you won’t know, means deliberate deceptiveness in behavior or speech.
